Frequently Asked Questions

When should I start the Health Coach Business Bootcamp?

You can start the Health Coach Business Bootcamp any time after the halfway point of your health coach training program, when you are ready to start building your business. It will require 10+ hours a week.

How much time is required to devote to the class?

The Health Coach Business Bootcamp requires about 10+ hours a week as you’ll be implementing real tangible actions in your business. Set aside about 1-2 hours to watch the content videos and do the workbook exercises, then the rest of the time is implementation, such as creating or optimizing your website, planning your social media, writing copy, creating a lead driver, handouts, or paid program, etc.

How does the Mentored By Marlowe Health Coach Business Bootcamp compare to IIN Biz?

IIN Biz provides you with ready made templates for marketing materials, like newsletters, social media campaigns, etc.

While it will save you time, the problem is that you won’t stand out sending the same cookie cutter stuff as everyone else. And how can anyone truly get to know you, if you’re not even using your own voice?!

It will extremely hard to grow your following and become known as a leader in your field if you’re posting the same exact stuff as a thousand other health coaches.

If you want to be a top health coach, you need to have your own unique signature program, brand, and voice. My Health Coach Business Bootcamp provides you with the confidence and knowledge you need to effectively market yourself. You’ll learn how to come up with an endless list of ideas for things to post, and write about the topics in a way that truly resonates with your ideal client. I teach you how to create a brand unique to you and that will help you stand out.

How does the Mentored By Marlowe Health Coach Business Bootcamp compare to B-School?

My Health Coach Business Bootcamp not only goes deeper and wider than B-School, it’s also tailored specifically to health coaches. As a B-School alum, I can tell you I found it valuable when I did it in 2013, but it was not the one stop shop for strategy and implementation that I needed.

The biggest takeaway I personally got was confidence in knowing my value and charging for it. I still had to invest thousands of dollars more in various additional training - from copywriting to email funnels to social media marketing, to book publishing. In my Health Coach Business Bootcamp, I instil that same confidence in you, but also take your hand and walk you step by step through just about every process in building and growing a successful health coaching business, which I’ve learned both in practice and through additional training.

Additionally, my program is much more interactive. In B-School there are weekly group coaching calls, but there isn’t any personalized one-on-one guidance.

In my Health Coach Business Bootcamp, I respond to every question and request for feedback with personalized and targeted advice, based on my 8+ years experience as a Health Coach. Plus you can meet and get to know other students in the Instagram pod, which will also be a support system in growing your following.

Want to know the icing on the cake? Even though my Health Coach Business Bootcamp, is more in depth and provides more personalized mentorship and guidance, it’s more affordable ($1,500), because I chose a different business model. B-School costs $2,000 and relies on affiliates who get 50% commission ($1,000) per enrollment, hence why it's promoted so heavily during launch time. Since I don’t offer such a big affiliate fee, I’m able to personally reply to your messages and send you voice note answers to your questions.

I’m starting a health coaching business and looking for insight on narrowing down my niche + setting up my coaching packages. Is this something the Health Coach Business Bootcamp can help with?

Yes in Level One, one of the first things you will do is narrow down your niche, create your signature program, and figure out your coaching packages. Your niche is incredibly important and will influence everything else you do in the course and in your business.

How do I know which Health Coach Business Bootcamp level is right for me? Or should I take both?

If you’re just starting out or have less than 5 clients, I’d recommend starting from Level 1 and doing the entire program.

If you’re already established yourself, have a clear niche, have a well outlined and established program, and have a regular and steady stream of clients, then Level 2 is better suited for you, as it focuses solely on advanced marketing strategies, to amplify what you’ve already created.

That said, if you have a steady stream of clients, but no clear strategy, or you want to change direction/ niche, I would suggest starting from Level 1.

For best results, I recommend doing the entire program, both Level 1 + Level 2.

I’ve finished Level 1 of the Health Coach Business Bootcamp. Would it be beneficial to do Level 2 if I already have clients?

Level 2 focuses on advanced marketing strategies, including SEO, growing Instagram, getting a book published, getting featured or mentioned in the press without hiring an expensive PR person, and working with brands. It also introduces you to setting up additional revenue streams beyond just coaching.

Level one is focused primarily on establishing a one-on-one coaching business with a steady stream of clients, and Level 2 is more about positioning you as the go-to expert in your niche in order to open up opportunities and revenue streams beyond one on one coaching. That said, it should attract more one-on-one clients, too.

So, yes, if you’re ready to think and play bigger, Level 2 will show you how.

What is the format of the Health Coach Business Bootcamp? Will there be 1-on-1 or group sessions?

The format of the Health Coach Business Bootcamp, is as follows: every week you’ll get access to a new module which contains a series of pre-recorded short videos and a PDF workbook. It’s not boring slides. It’s me sitting down, talking to you. You’ll watch the videos and complete the exercises in the workbook on your own, and then be given a specific action step prompt that you’ll have to implement in your business. For example, after watching the video on best practices for crafting a website home page that converts, you’ll have to actually create or update your homepage.

You are encouraged to ask questions and ask for feedback throughout the entire program. I will respond via message or voice note.

While most students find this interaction sufficient, if you’d like to set up one-on-one business coaching, I offer 60-minute one-on-one sessions to Health Coach Business Bootcamp, members at a rate of $300/session.

I’m not a Health Coach yet…where do I start?

First, you’ll have to do a Health Coach Training Program. This is the one I did and recommend. You can take a sample class or check out their curriculum guide.
